Curriculum Design & Development

We typically utilize our existing bilingual curriculums that have been developed and improved over the past 20+ years, making necessary modifications and alterations to suit the specific needs of our clients and accommodate any local regulatory requirements that exist. Moreover, we have the necessary resources to create new curriculums from scratch, if required.

Tasharuk offers comprehensive and integrated curriculums based on different resources including (but not limited to) the International Baccalaureate program (IB) and other national and international educational programs. Our curriculums are designed to help teachers build students’ cultural identity. It prepares students for the intellectual challenges of further education and their future careers, focusing on the development of the student as an inquirer, both in the classroom and in the world outside.

It should be noted that our curriculums are designed to develop students’ academic, social and emotional wellbeing, focusing on international-mindedness and strong personal values. We aim to nurture independent learning skills and encourage every student to take responsibility for their learning. The team also makes it a point to incorporate local and global issues into any given curriculum.

For any curriculum to be effectively applied in the classroom, intensive training modules will be customized for teachers in order for teachers to be able to:

  • Demonstrate a high level of relevant curriculum knowledge, especially in areas of literacy and numeracy.

  • Incorporate relevant thinking and reflective skills into the curriculum.

  • Prepare and present informative reports to parents and other stakeholders, as required.

  • Work as team players to ensure continuity and progression in the curriculum.

  • Empower children to become or prepare to be independent learners.

  • Use assessment information to plan progression for the differing needs of learners in the class.

  • Use appropriate assessment tools for formative and summative assessments.

  • Provide high quality scaffolding and feedback and encourage children to reflect on their learning.

  • Train teachers how to effectively deal & communicate with parents.
